CAMPING: We will be camping in a bigger hay field. Easy access to camping area from paved road. Generators are welcomed. No Hay or fresh water for rigs will be available at this location. Water for stock only. Bring in your fresh water with you. ADDRESS: 239 Bald Creek Road, Leicester, NC 28748 NEED TO KNOW: If you put this address in your GPS from your originating location, GPS will take you on a winding, curvy road that you do not want to take rigs on. If you will follow these directions and put the above address in your GPS at this spot while you have service, you should avoid the bridge and winding road we want you to stay off of. There will also be signs helping you along the way as you come off the exit on 40. Coming East on I40 take exit 33 and turn left on new found road. 9 miles turn left on Old new found road. Put address in GPS NOW. No special events happening during this ride. No band. No dinner. Just getting together to ride. Gas station will be 9 miles away from camp. Grocery store will be 12 miles from camp. Little to no cell service once you get out to camp. Negative coggins required on all WNC wagon train rides. |
DatesApril 24th-27th, 2025 Gathering Day is Thursday, Rides: Friday ride will be 20 miles. Saturday ride will be 17 miles. Sunday ride will be 9 miles. All routes will be on pavement with some pulls, but nothing bad. Most of the ride on every day is small rolling hills. This ride is for saddle riders and wagon riders. Plenty of beautiful scenery for everyone to enjoy! Beautiful country up in there. Cost for Ride: This is considered a small ride for WNC. WNC takes donations for these small rides.
